Ashley Haas, Defender, #10 A member of the Lady Wildcat family from 2000-2003, Ashley missed half of her senior season due to a tragic automobile accident that nearly took her life. Ashley returned to the squad in mid season, one that she captained as a junior and senior, to quickly show the soccer community why she wore the world famous ten shirt. Ashley established herself as a "very blue collar" defender who with her brilliant leadership and organization skills frustrated Oak Ridge opponents. While not used in a goal scoring capacity, Ashley was the cornerstone of the defense from
grades 10-12, starting her career as a marking back, and concluding her career as the sweeper. In her senior season, Ashley was selected for the NSCAA Scholar All American Team, being one of only five defenders selected in the nation. Ashley played soccer at the University of Nebraska, where she participated in the NSCAA tournament as a freshman.
